Coaching for IT (CfIT) was created as an organisation aimed primarily at assisting IT professionals and teams to develop themselves and achieve the goals that they have in their hearts and in their minds. During my 20+ year career in IT, working across multiple sectors, I've seen many great IT professionals struggle to address their development needs and hold themselves back from achieving greater success and growth due to not having someone to support them through that process.
I've had the pleasure of assisting many great people, at a technical, managerial and executive level, to achieve their development and career goals, while enjoying personal satisfaction and growth. The creation of Coaching for IT is to extend this support to all those who will benefit.

The CfIT Coaching Model
At the heart of all the Coaching programs and workshops, for Individuals and Organisations that you can find out more about on this site, is the CfIT Coaching Model. This model provides a unique framework for guiding your coaching sessions. Within this framework, your coach will customise a process, specifically targeted towards the goals YOU want to achieve.
Through the 4 main stages of this framework, we will go on a journey of discovery around the Vision for the future and the goals you want achieve. We'll understand your core values and beliefs, then work together to create a roadmap and action plan to move you from where you are today, to the future that you want.
Your Coach’s Qualifications
David Gibbons holds the accredited qualification of Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the International Coaching Academy (www.icoachacademy.com).
David has extensive experience as a Senior Corporate Leader, a business leader, a motivator and as an executive and career coach. He has coached senior executives, managers and professionals across multiple functions and industries. David has a proven track record in coaching people to success in a supportive, personable, honest, and most importantly respectful manner. He believes that success is within us all, it just sometimes needs some help to be brought out.
